HeRise Growth Center is officially launching its citywide initiative, “We Did Our Part. It’s Your Turn.” — a movement to strengthen re-entry support, expand supportive housing, and uplift the communities most impacted by incarceration in Washington, D.C. 

 

As part of our launch, we are rallying the community around two vital goals:

• Raise $50,000 by December 1 to expand housing capacity, strengthen the Peacekeeper Network, and grow the Clean & Green Corp workforce initiative.

• Secure 500 signatures of community support to demonstrate that Washington, D.C. stands behind second chances, safer neighborhoods, and opportunity for returning citizens.

 

This moment is bigger than one building — it’s the beginning of a citywide commitment to reduce violence, rebuild families, and create pathways to financial independence for men coming home.
